With several printer brands having invaded the market, it is particularly hard to choose the best one. The problem is rather complex, since every manufacturer is now coming up with printers having the latest features incorporated in them, like the Continuous Ink Supply system and All-In-One printing. Some brands, however, stand out from other based on their price, features and reliability. The best way to figure out which manufacturer you should buy from is to go through the general features every manufacturer has to offer and, then, to review particular models.
Hewlett Packard
When it comes to affordable printers, HP has been regarded by many as the best value for money. These printers come in cheaper prices than most Canon and Espon models, thus being more easily affordable. The printers are highly reliable, with the most popular models being 7510 All-In-One and the Multifunction Laser-jet Pro series. The former is particularly popular due to the LCD touch screen. In general, HP printers are inexpensive, easy to set up and to use.
Epson
Epson is yet another common brand, with models available from as low as $50 up to $300. The most successful models, perhaps, are those in the Workforce Pro series. The printers have been rated to be easy to set up and simple to use, particularly due to their wireless function. The color printing capability has been particularly appreciated by users, as has the photo printing quality. Espon beats others with its warranty offers, which allows a replacement free of cost. Also, the printer ink is much more affordable than that of other manufacturers.
Brother
Brother printers are widely used, owing to the fact that they offer models priced as low as $99. With their affordability and automatic duplex, they have been widely preferred. The more costly models in the HL and Brother series are also particularly reliable. The printing is fast, with a good text output. Many users, however, have faced troubles with beginning to use their printers and complain of the set-up being complicated.
Canon
Considering ink jet printers, Canon printers are probably the fastest. From usual prints to professional photos, the results of Canon printers have been great. At average, Canon printers are priced higher than other famous ones like HP and Espon. These are, however, reliable and long lasting. From the 6-color Pixma series to photo printers like Canon Selphy, the printers are particularly durable, though some models, like the Pixma MG6150, have been accused of using enormous volumes of ink at every start-up and facing occasional pauses during printing.
